How it Works

At your option, you or your group can choose to pay to access Additional Features (the features are listed below) within Babysitter Exchange. See the fee schedule below.

The additional features have been designed to benefit the individual, so it is not required that everyone in the group sign up for the additional features. Quite simply, those that choose to pay for the additional features will see them, and those that choose not to pay will not.

However, if the group chooses to pay for the whole group, all group members including any new members added in the group will be able to access the Additional Features. To make payment for this option, the group owners should collect the appropriate fees from each of the group members and send one payment to Babysitter Exchange as indicated below.

    List of Additional Features
 

Below are the list of enhancements you can access through the Additional Features option.

Requesting a Babysitter

1) Ability to add a note along with the babysitting request to provide additional information that may be important for the babysitter to know or consider before making themselves available.

2) Ability to choose the desired location of the babysit; Requesting Parent's Home, Babysitter's Home, or Either Location.

3) Ability to choose which of your children are being watched.

4) Ability to choose if the child's information (name, favorite things, etc) is sent along with the request or just with confirmation of the selected babysitter.

Group Management

1) Ability for the group owner to set approval rules for the group: for example, only group owner approval is needed, 1 member is needed, or no approvals are needed.

2) Ability for the group owner to set how long nomination and invitation remain valid before being automatically deleted.

3) Ability for the group owner and the person that created an invitation to delete an outstanding invitations.

4) Ability for group owner to remove someone from the group.

5) Ability to change the Group Name.

Misc. Items

1) The Firefox browser is supported.

2) Receive preferential customer support with all questions usually answered within 24 hours, and in most cases will receive an answer within 8 hours or less.

3) Ability to join and/or start more than 1 group. (Please note: Non-paying customers already members in more than 1 group will be grandfathered for their current groups. To join and/or add more groups will require a paid membership.)

4) Ability to participate in the dialogue for future enhancements and new features.


More features will be added once we determine if members are interested in paying for these and other features.
